The party-political "International" fought the party-political unity of the CDU-hymns to the finish. Everyone wants their "unity" to prevail against one another, by force if necessary. And no wasted a single word about the country, to argue why you would love it if necessary. Neither the international nor the national anthem I hear out such a descriptive word, there is a gaping void, beefed up with keywords, imbued with kitsch.
The established parties is not even clear what the "Fatherland" is. There is no well-established constitution, without a peace treaty. It is their only known indirectly, namely by provides a seemingly inexhaustible tax and credit-pot for convenient comfort. Power is supplied free with. Then that's enough already.
